Rev. Sheila is a 2005 graduate of the New Seminary, an Interfaith training seminary, and is ordained through the Interfaith Temple, Inc. of New York City.
She also has a B.S. in sociology from Eastern Michigan University and an M.A. in creative writing from Brown University.
I, Sheila K. Smith, humbly, sincerely, and faithfully answer and accept my call into the ministry. I surrender all.
As an Interfaith minister I affirm my faith in God, Spirit, Creative Intelligence, Creator of the Universe and I promise to honor all paths, including my own, to the One.
My personal statement of my ministry begins…let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight…. My ministry encompasses my daily walk with God/Spirit as I surrender my entire being to the will of God/Spirit. I am a vessel and an instrument of peace.
A few years ago I established TheWholeTruthInc., a healing ministry. Through my ministry:
• I will facilitate healing and empowerment workshops.
• I will use my gift of words to inspire and inform others.
• I will speak words of truth and love.
• I will be of service to humankind.
• I will honor all paths, including my own, to the Divine One.
